My research interests are in the areas of diagnosis and classification of mental disorders, personality disorders (particularly borderline personality disorder), substance use disorders, psychometrics and clinical assessment, the relationship between personality and psychopathology, professional issues in clinical psychology, affective instability, emotional dysregulation, and ambulatory assessment methods.
